In the morning of Dec 17th 2014, Dr. Liang Chang’s oral defense meeting of postdoctoral station was held at the meeting room of Daheng New Epoch Technology Inc. Expert reviewers include: researcher Zhiyi Wei and associate research fellow Hao Teng from the Institute of Physics Chinese Academy of Sciences, vice president, chief engineer and researcher of China Daheng Group Feijun Song, general manager Xiaohong Yang and senior engineer Jianli Song from Daheng Optoelectronic Research. Vice president Qun Luo of Daheng New Epoch also attended the meeting.

In the meeting, Xiaohong Yang introduced the works and achievements of Dr. Chang during his time in the station. Then Dr. Chang himself explained his research topic Semiconductor Laser Pumping Mode-Locking Ultraviolet Nd:YVO4 Laser Device and replied questions from the expert reviewers.

The meeting was progressing with serious and warm atmosphere. The participants witnessed the research achievements of Dr. Chang and gave a high evaluation. The supervisory committee agreed that the achievements of Dr. Chang had met the requirements and approved for standing out of the station. He will stay at Daheng Optoelectronic Research and further contribute to Daheng’s development.
